Dear Member,

Sub:   BSM / Pharma Business Delegation to Russia, Moldova, Belarus and Turkmenistan during 1st December – 15th December 2012.
 
We have pleasure in informing you that PHARMEXCIL proposes Buyer-Seller Meets/Business Delegation to CIS countries i.e. Russia, Belarus, Moldova and Turkmenistan (subject to confirmation from our Missions) from 1st December 2012 to 15th December 2012 in these countries. This delegation visit would be coinciding with the Apteka Exhibition, Moscow, Russia during 3rd December to 6th December 2012.

The delegation is proposed to these countries as an approved activity under the MDA activity of the Council.

The export figures of these 4(four) countries from India for the last three years are given below for your kind information and to assess the export potential in these countries.

In view of the above, we invite applications from our members to participate in this delegation.

The Buyer-Seller meets would be organized in each of these countries on the basis of recommendations from our Missions in these countries. The Buyer-Seller meets are also proposed in Moscow – Russia, Chisinau – Moldova, Minsk – Belarus and Ashgabat – Turkmenistan.
 
The tentative programme & itinerary for the delegation would be as per the following schedule (subject to confirmation from our Missions abroad and availability of airlines):
                                           

The above dates & itineraries (countries may be interchanged if necessary) are tentative, which may change depending on the views of our mission and flight availability / connectivity.

Members participating in this delegation may kindly note the following important information:
 

• Cost towards Airfare would be around Rs. 90,000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand only) subject to the option of Airlines & class of seat available in economy class at the time of booking of tickets.

• Accommodation will be arranged by the Council on the basis of recommendation of our Missions abroad (Hotel tariffs will be informed shortly and payment to be made by participating members directly).

• Other details like venue etc will be communicated to interested members in due course.

• BSMs are proposed to be held at Moscow, Chisinau, Minsk and Ashgabat as per the advice of our missions in each of these countries.

Assistance under MDA Scheme: Members whose export turnover during previous year is less than Rs.15.00 crores are eligible for MDA subject to the condition that the exporter is has completed 12 calendar months’ membership with the Council and filing of returns with the Council regularly. Please refer PHARMEXCIL website www.pharmexcil.com for detailed MDA schemes and guidelines. In this case, 100% economy class excursion airfare will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum limit of Rs.70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand only) per company.

Interested members may send their Company Profile along with the name of the delegate & other details as per Delegation form enclosed along with their passport scanned copy.

We now request the members to confirm your interest to participate in the event by sending enclosed Delegation form, MDA application form, Delegate’s Scanned passport copy along with a non-refundable commitment/delegation fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only). This amount is refundable only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances or postponed at the instance of our Missions/Council.
