Sub: Pharmexcil’s International Buyer-Seller Meetings (9-10th December 2012), & “AROGYA Exhibition” from (7-10th December 2012) at 5th World Ayurveda Congress, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

  • As our members are aware, Ayurveda and Herbal products are fast catching the attention of the global community and gaining popularity and its potential for taking care of the global health needs are recognized globally, especially from Europe and United States. India is exporting Herbal and Ayush products worth US $ 347mn (in Rs.1663.86 Crores) with a growth rate of 20% over last year. India is the second largest country in the export of medicinal plants to the world next to China. 
     
  • Following the success of earlier Buyer Seller Meets at “International Arogya”, 4th World Ayurveda Congress and 7th Nutra Summit at Bangalore, Pharmexcil is supporting the AYUSH sector in 2012 by partnering “5th World Ayurveda Congress” organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), a mega event for the Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy sector scheduled from 7th -10th December 2012 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
  • With this gaining popularity and ongoing demand, Pharmexcil with the support of Department of Commerce takes this opportunity to organize exclusive Buyer Seller Meet and Technical Sessions with Regulatory officials during the event as per the following details,

Buyer-Seller Meetings: (9th -10th December 2012)

We are inviting around 25 potential importers/ traders/ Food & Drug Regulators/Associations/Consultants from the important export destinations dealing with Ayurveda, Herbal products & Dietary Supplements / Nutraceuticals / Herbal Extracts / Phytochemicals to participate/interact/trade with the Indian Industry.  During 9th-10th December 2012, we will be organizing One-to-One business Meetings among the foreign delegates and Indian delegates.

International Technical/Regulatory Meet/Conference on Exporting to the US Dietary Supplement Market – Updates on Regulatory and GMP challenges (8/9th December 2012).

Pharmexcil Pavilion in Arogya Expo: (7-10th December 2012)

Pharmexcil is also taking part in the “AROGYA EXPO”, 2012 organized during the 5th WAC by reserving a Pavilion for Pharmexcil members. Members interested to display their products in Pharmexcil Pavilion are requested to register with Pharmexcil. Pharmexcil floor plan and information on stall costs are as follows,

Stall Dimension: 9 Sqmts (3 x 3 sqmts)
Cost Per Sqmtr   : Rs.5,400/-(excluding Service Tax @ 12.36%)
What it includes: One Display Table, one round table, three chairs, two spotlights, dustbin, carpet, fascia and one electric point.

Members who are interested to participate in the above meetings are advised to fill up the Registration form and send to us on or before 20.11.2012 along with company profile as per proforma attached. Delegates registered with Pharmexcil are allowed to participate in all the activities of WAC. Delegates registered with WAC, interested in attending BSM have to pay Rs 2250/-
(Per session).  

  • Registration Fee is inclusive of Service tax charged as applicable (12.36%)

Advertisement in Catalogue:

Council will be releasing a catalogue on this occasion which contains useful information like details of the participants in the meetings, drug regulatory requirements in these countries, market reports etc. Copies of this catalogue will be sent to our Embassies and overseas trade associations for their use/distribution.
